If you want a sniffer that can distinguish thoron from radon, RAD7 is the sniffer you should have. The instrument is based on a semiconductor detector measuring radon daughters collected with a strong electric field. RAD7 is capable of dissolving the energy of various radon isotopes radon (Radon-222) and toron (Radon-220). After each completed measurement cycle, a printout with the measurement result comes from the wireless included printer. After completion of the measurement, the measurement results can be transferred to a PC for post-analysis and report editing to the end customer. Capture transfer software is included for free and can be automatically translated into multiple languages. With the required accessories, RAD7 can also be used to analyze radon in water and to conduct soil surveys. The price includes also a half-day online training and the possibility to order a service and calibration agreement with 50% discount the first year.
